First Lady Mildren “Millie” Knowlin

Mildred “Millie” Grayson Knowlin is a native of the North Santee Community, located in Georgetown, SC. She was born on January 30, 1955 and is the youngest daughter of the Late Henry Wesley Grayson and Joeanna Hamilton Grayson. Mrs. Knowlin attended Sampit Elementary and Mt. Zion Elementary Schools in the North Santee Community. She is a 1973 graduate of Howard High School in Georgetown, SC. She furthered her education and received degrees in Business Administration from Midlands Technical College and Horry-Georgetown Technical College. Since 1990, she has been employed at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in the laboratory as a Reference Lab Clerk.
In 1980, the former Mildred Grayson took those sacred vows and connected the ribs back to Floyd A. Knowlin, and this union was blessed with two children; Antonio and Alexia Knowlin. Now First Lady Knowlin, along with her husband serves as spiritual parents to many other children in their congregation as well as in surrounding communities. First Lady Knowlin is known for having a sweet spirit and is adored by anyone that comes in contact with her. Her compassion for God and His righteousness separates her from the usual.
Currently, First Lady Knowlin lends her knowledge and service in many areas in the church. She is the teacher of the Youth Bible Class, and the Vice-President of the Junior Missionary Society. She has recently organized and birthed out the Intercessory Prayer for Women. While all of these services are important to her, her most important service is supporting and being an awesome helpmeet to her husband. One of the most respected characteristic of First Lady Knowlin, is that she is faithful in whatever she is involved in, but mostly when it is supporting her husband!
First Lady Mildren Knowlin’s favorite saying is, ”It took the word of God to save me and it will take the word of God to keep me.” Let us stay in the word of God! God Bless and Keep You All!
